Your silhouette

Silhouette I

Slender, delicate frame

Silhouette I

You have a beautiful, slender silhouette. Your frame is delicate, your shoulders and hips are aligned and your waist is subtly defined. This is what is known as the “boyish” silhouette. Overall, everything suits you. But be careful: a poorly chosen garment can quickly throw your silhouette off balance.

To flatter your silhouette: bring shape and definition to your silhouette by playing with volumes. To do so, accentuate your shoulders, bust or hips, depending on the effect you want. You can also create more definition at the waist to balance your silhouette.

What to favour

  • Wide or straight pants, textured or colourful
  • Structured jackets
  • Satin and shiny fabrics (they add shape)
  • Layering
  • Full, balloon or circle skirts
  • Pockets at the bust and hips
  • Boat necklines
  • Prints and diagonal stripes
  • Leg-of-mutton or balloon sleeves
  • Cardigans worn open

What to avoid

  • Straight, unstructured dresses
  • Very fitted cuts that emphasize the lack of a waist
  • Wide necklines that accentuate an angular frame
  • Flowing tops that flare widely at the collar
  • Long straight coats
  • Raglan sleeves
